Academic Writing Center Team
Karen Yambay de Armijos is the Coordinator of the Academic Writing Center. She holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She has taught English for Specific Purposes in Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil and Universidad del Pacífico. Since 1999, she has worked in ESPOL teaching English at CELEX. She is also the Academic Coordinator of the Master of Teaching as a Foreign Language Program of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities in ESPOL.
David Estrella has been an English teacher for almost 20 years, most of which have been dedicated to ESPOL. He has been teaching all the different levels of English, both to students and to professors and staff of ESPOL. He has occupied different positions in the administration of the unit, such as exams coordinator, quality coordinator and adjunct academic coordinator.
